Judson Battaglia - Founding member of IGGE, has studied and performed improv since 7th grade.  Clean up hitter in Song creations, always one step ahead in putting ideas together. Senior at BCC, DDR monster, off to Muhlenberg College in PA where he will be both a Presidential and Dana Scholar. Pre Med?

Andrew Brooks - Founding member of IGGE, has been performing improv since 7th grade. Irreverent iconoclast, lead off hitter for songs, strange characters spring forth.  Will attend University of Maryland, Honors program next year to study Physics.

Mae Gowin, Founding member of IGGE. She has been studying and performing improv for 4 years now. A sophomore at Herndon High in VA, Mae is active in Herndon’s Theater productions. She is deep into Sci Fi, and for the longest time, was the only female in the show.

Spencer Johnston, new member of MOI, a junior at BCC, finished big roles in Forum and Midsummer Night’s dream at BCC, and having his film he directed for the One Acts this Friday. He just finished the Improv 101 class with the class show where he ‘tore it up’

Josh Silverman - Founding member of IGGE, has studied improv, stand up, physical comedy and other class all around the Washington area.  Besides working with robots that disarm IEDs at the National Science Foundation, he’s a BCC senior who will attend University of Southern California next year, majoring in Computer Science.

Catalina Walker - Veteran of 2 IGGE performances, a BCC sophomore with roles in Forum and Midsummer’s Night Dream. Also an accomplished pianist, soccer forward and linguist, she is ready to leave for China and England this summer.

 

Rich Battaglia (Artistic and Managing Director) - Rich studied and worked at National Improvisational Theater (NIT) with Tamara Wilcox in New York from 1983 – 1990. He founded, trained and performed with “Now This!” musical comedy improv in DC, 1990 – 1994.  Taught “The Art of Improvisation” at Adventure Theater in Glen Echo from 2000 – 2004.  Founded IGGE/MOI in 2005.   He has a BA Math, and completed course work for Bachelor of Music, Composition, at Temple University, Philadelphia.
